Additions & Extensions

An addition is judged from the outside, by people standing in the street. The interior can be perfect and the project will still read as a failure if the brickwork, the coursing or the roofline do not resolve.

What is included

Planning and building control submissions, structural drawings, foundations and drainage, framing or masonry, roofing, glazing, exterior matching, and full internal fit-out.

On matching

We source reclaimed material from the same regional works wherever we can, and we match mortar by test panel rather than by eye. It adds a week. It is the difference between an addition and an extension.
